Our Sires
More embryos had been purchased from Maungahina and Premier Studs resulting in more purebred heifers and bulls to enter the herd. These are sired by Extreme, Kidmans Cove, Legacy, Edwardo and Lord Stars. AB over the last two seasons has given me some outcross breeding from Andchris Extreme and El Guapo.
Manns is from lots of embryos. I rate him as Mr. Reliable – very fertile and at 5 years very sound in his feet and legs, easy calving and very good temperament. He has frame that reflects back to his Eldorado breeding.
Korako Manns
Cherokee was purchased from Premier Stud in 2018. He was the top priced bull at the annual sale and was sought after by many. He has a background of breeding from easy calving sires on both sides of his pedigree, Grand Slam and Falcon. He is the mainstay sire for the purebred herd leaving good coloured calves, easy calving and is a bull with an excellent temperament. Moderate frame with depth.

Pal has developed into an outstanding sire which is not surprising that he is by the well known and proven Kidmans Cove. He is hard to fault in his confirmation and is leaving his stamp on his progeny at Korako.
Korako Pal
Monty as I call him is developing into a very appealing sire for my herd.
His sire Minnamurra Montezumza M25 is an outcross bull and has low birth weight and short gestation figures which will be ideal for heifer breeding. As described by his breeder in the sale catalogue, “A well put together bull with a great structure, constitution and temperament,” absolutely.
